A member of the Mt Zion Methodist Men’s Fellowship donated a set of drums for worship at the Sakumono Preaching Post planted by the Mt Zion Men’s Fellowship. The items were received and dedicated by the Very Rev. Ebenezer Popeson Adjei during a Divine Service at the Preaching Post on Sunday 15th September 2019. This comes barely three months after the dedication of an organ and other gadgets also donated by a member of the Fellowship. Suffice to mention that Services at the Preaching Post which started on the 17th of February 2019, have seen a lot of support by way of contributions towards the purchase of Bibles, Hymn Books, etc, by membership of the Fellowship.
The Fellowship’s ultimate aim besides the spiritual growth of congregants is to ensure that a plot of land is secured to put up a place of worship and for this we enlist the prayer support of all to realize to the glory of God. Meanwhile the Branch Secretary of the Mount Zion Fellowship Bro. Nana Budu is to be appointed the Caretaker for the Preaching Post with the first baptism of new converts slated for November 2019 and the administration of communion shall commence thereafter.
Already a member of the Fellowship and the wife have donated elements of Communion for the Preaching Post. In his words of exhortation after unveiling the set of drums, the Very Rev. Ebenezer Popeson Adjei reminded the congregation to serve sincerely for they were bought at a price and therefore must not be man pleasers Col.3 :17. In attendance were officers from the Tema West Circuit and the Tema Diocesan Council.
